Students at Collins will be celebrating the importance of being kind through daily lessons, fun lunchroom activities, and our weeklong kindness bingo challenge.
All students will be receiving a copy of the bingo card below in their homeroom classes today. Please note, parents are required to sign each box their child completes.
We hope this will encourage accountability but also meaningful and fun conversation at home.

Our Coin War competition has officially raised enough money to fund one $1,000 scholarship for a high school senior! 🎓👏 This is an incredible milestone!
Now let’s keep the momentum going! Our goal is to raise enough for five senior scholarship recipients, and we need your help to make it happen. Currently, LC 6-5 is in the lead, but there’s still plenty of time for things to change.
To make donating even easier, we’ve added an online donation option through SchoolCash Online, open now through next Tuesday. Families may make one online donation of any amount. We are also still collecting coins and cash on campus. To access your schoolcash account, go to conroeisd.schoolcashonline.com
A quick reminder on scoring:
-Pennies and dollar bills = positive points for your LC
-Silver coins placed in other LCs = negative points to lower their totals
-Each coin or dollar counts at its actual value

Join our counselors on February 3rd in the Collins Cafe at 8AM for their February Coffee Talk focusing on: Making the Transition to Junior High. Our conversation will be focused on what to expect as kids transition to 7th grade. This meeting is open to both 5 and 6th grade parents and will cover course request information, introduce junior high and high school hot topics, and provide suggestions for how to support your child through change.
